We're partnering with a respected professional services firm seeking an Accounting & Tax Manager to lead both its Accounting and Tax functions. This is an opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role where you'll influence business decisions, mentor talented professionals, and work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading and developing Accounting and Tax teams
  • Reviewing and signing off on Annual Financial Statements and tax deliverables
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on complex tax and business matters
  • Managing SARS engagements, audits, objections, and dispute resolutions
  • Driving quality, compliance, and operational excellence across the practice
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value
  • Managing departmental performance, budgets, billing, and profitability

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Is suitably qualified as a tax and accounting manager - CA(SA) / CIMA / SAIT
  • Has a strong background in accounting and taxation within a professional services environment
  • Enjoys leading, coaching, and developing people
  • Has deep knowledge of South African tax legislation and financial reporting standards
  • Is confident engaging with clients and providing strategic advice
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality and client service matter
  • Brings strong commercial acumen and a solutions-focused mindset
