The Role
As a Consultant within the Industrial Development team, you’ll help shape the future of manufacturing in Africa. You’ll work across national policy, sector strategy, and firm-level competitiveness—translating big-picture vision into measurable economic impact.
You’ll collaborate with both public and private sector stakeholders, driving partnerships that advance South Africa’s reindustrialisation agenda.
What You’ll Do

Conduct applied economic research and analysis to inform policy and strategy.

Design and facilitate workshops aligning diverse stakeholders toward shared goals.

Deliver insightful reports and presentations that drive real-world implementation.

Manage project plans and budgets to deliver impact with precision.

Contribute to innovative tools, frameworks and programmes that promote localisation, sustainability, and competitiveness.

Qualifications
Essential:
-
Master’s degree in a relevant analytical or quantitative discipline (Economics, Development Economics, Engineering, Geography, Industrial Psychology, or Commerce).

Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
2+ years’ experience (Consultant) or 4+ years (Senior Consultant) in management consulting or related roles.
