Job Description
Our client is a large, South African bank and they are looking to appoint a Service Manager for their Mid-Corporate client segment in commercial banking. Based in KZN.
As part of the broader client coverage team, you will be responsible for the effective servicing of the clients; effectively resolving escalated complex complaints in order to retain current and new clients and minimise reputational risk for the bank through enabling others.
The mandate for the Service Manager includes:
- onboarding new clients, opening new accounts and ensuring FICA / KYC compliance
- assisting clients with complex administrative issues to ensure consistency of service excellence
Candidates must have:
- Degree or National Diploma in Finance, Banking or Business Management
- good knowledge of banking products, ideally within commercial banking
- strong relationship building and management skills, ability to network within the broader bank to resolve queries
- excellent knowledge of risk and compliance within the onboarding and servicing of commercial banking clients
