A leading freight forwarding and logistics company is seeking a Process Excellence Lead to establish and lead their new Process Excellence function. This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up – creating the frameworks, methodologies, and processes that will drive operational efficiency across the entire organisation. You'll be at the intersection of process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.

Your responsibilities will include:
·      Develop and lead a hybrid Process Excellence capability, leveraging a mix of internal resources and external vendors, to ensure scalable, fit-for-purpose process improvement capacity
·      Develop the process improvement roadmap aligned with the digital transformation programme
·      Lead end-to-end mapping of core operational, financial, and customer-facing processes
·      Redesign processes using lean, data-driven, and industry best-practice principles
·      Standardise processes across branches and functions to create consistent ways of working
·      Build business cases for automation, including ROI, time savings, error reduction, and feasibility
·      Influence senior leadership and operational teams to embed process excellence

Experience & Qualifications Required:
·      7–12+ years in process engineering, operations excellence, industrial engineering, or business process transformation roles
·      Prior experience in management consulting (operations, process improvement, supply chain, transformation, or digital) is advantageous.
·      Proven experience in process redesign, optimisation, and standardisation across multiple business units
·      Experience working with RPA/automation teams or vendors, and an understanding of automation lifecycles
·      Freight-forwarding, supply chain and logistics industries knowledge beneficial
·      Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
·      Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred
·      Additional credentials in BPM, project management, or automation advantageous
