Data Scientist Position - Sandton

Drive organizational value through analytics and data science, transforming key business processes using ML/AI-driven insights.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and optimization initiatives
• Develop and implement advanced analytics models to drive business value
• Design and maintain data science solutions using ML, Cloud technologies, and APIs
• Present findings to stakeholders using data visualization techniques
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with business units
• Migrate existing solutions to cloud infrastructure
• Monitor model performance and stability

Requirements:

• 4-6 years relevant experience
• BSc in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Expertise in Python, SQL, PowerBI, and Azure
• Strong background in classification models, anomaly detection, regression, and neural networks
• Proven experience in big data analytics and database mining
• Excellence in communication and project management
• API implementation experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills
