Strategy meets technology. Partner-track role in Joburg.

Are you a strategy consultant who is tired of building the deck and handing it over?

We are working with a growth and innovation advisory firm in Johannesburg, hiring at Associate Partner or Partner level. The work will look very familiar if you sit in a strategy practice where technology and digital are at the heart of what you deliver. The difference here is that you get to actually own it.

The work itself is the part you already love:

• Helping established businesses find their next growth frontier. New markets, new revenue models, the kind of work where you figure out where to play and what to offer next.
• Reinvention that goes beyond cutting cost. Real productivity and modernisation work, where technology and AI change how the business actually runs, not just what it spends.
• Taking ideas and turning them into something real. Helping clients build, launch and scale new products and ventures rather than leaving them with a strategy nobody acts on.
• Using AI properly in your delivery, not as a buzzword but as part of how you find insight, move faster and make sharper calls.

What is different is the scale and the ownership. These are senior conversations with JSE-listed businesses, but you are close to the client and close to the outcome. No endless layers. You run your accounts, you grow them, and you build a practice that is genuinely yours.

This suits someone who has done serious strategy and digital transformation work, has run their own client relationships, and is on the cusp of partner but wants to get there somewhere they can build rather than wait their turn.

A few things that matter:

• A management consulting and corporate strategy foundation
• Real modernisation, digital or transformation projects you can point to
• Experience growing and keeping client accounts
• A Masters or MBA, 10 plus years of experience, at least 2 in consulting
