CIO | FINTECH PLATFORM | GAUTENG

Here's what most CIO roles won't give you: the chance to own the entire technology vision for a fintech platform operating across multiple countries, reporting directly to the CEO. This is enterprise architecture, platform scalability, cybersecurity governance, and digital strategy across multiple regulated markets. You'll lead the full technology function, including dev, infrastructure, BI, architecture, and automation, while shaping how financial technology works across the continent.

The company is a well-established, profitable fintech with real scale. Think 1,800+ clients, 35,000+ active users on the platform, and operations spanning the SADC region. They build and own their tech (Flutter, .NET Core, AWS, Google Cloud, SQL Server) and they need someone who can take it to the next level.

You'll need:

• Executive-level tech leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, or regulated financial services
• Deep understanding of platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, and systems integration across multiple jurisdictions
• The ability to talk strategy with the board and still roll up your sleeves when it matters
• Africa experience is a strong plus
